This lace book was beautiful with examples of different patterens and lace structures a sort of lace bible.
Hello I'm Deborah, I am in my third year of University at Nottingham Trent on the Textile Design course and have specialised in embroidery. I wanted to start this blog to document the journey of my last year at University; as a place to gather inspirational images, research and display my work.

Fewkes Lace Factory Nottingham
During my work experience with Kula Tsurdiu I got the opportunity to go with her to Fewkes lace factory and see lace being made. It was really exciting to see the different varieties of lace patterns and fabrics there. The machines themselves were so big, stretching from one side of the room to the other.
